Tammy Shaw | Las Vegas Woman
Tammy Shaw has been Las Vegas native since 1978 and she is passionate about her publication: Las Vegas Woman Magazine. Her mother came to Las Vegas as a refugee from Vietnam and Shaw states, “it’s important that I give back to Las Vegas, a city that has given my family so much opportunity. One of the best ways I can do that is through Las Vegas Woman Magazine.”
As owner of Las Vegas Woman Magazine, she makes it a priority that above all else, the publication positively serves the community through features on local women, events and charities. Throughout the years, the magazine has featured hundreds of local women. It is Shaw’s hope that Las Vegas Woman Magazine inspires women to live out their full potential.
Shaw is passionate about a number of local charities. Currently, she is an officer on the Board-of-Directors for New Vista, a nonprofit that empowers the mentally challenged community. In addition, she is a member of the United Way’s Tocqueville Society, Women’s Leadership Council and Young Philanthropists Society. She also supports the Executive Leadership Committee for American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” and is a proud member of the the Circle of Red.
In her spare time, Shaw loves to travel and enjoy life with her fiancé, celebrity magician Seth Grabel. Shaw is a firecracker and is a lover of life, career and community.
