Russel Frank | Fashion Stylist

Russel Frank, wardrobe fashion stylist, love and passion for the industry started as being a Visual Merchandise Manager. From dressing mannequins, window displays, to creating a story with apparel in a retail environment.

“There was one moment I’m able to identify with that will forever stick with me, that made me feel like I belong and I knew what I was going to do with the rest of my life. I never really gave that much thought of being involved in the fashion industry, until that moment in my career. My first official visit with my District Manager as a Softlines Manager, she looked over at me, and said ‘You really have an eye for this Russel.  The way you see fashion, the pieces, you tell a story by how you place each garment to dressing your mannequins.’ From there, I knew that I had to find myself, within the fashion scene.” – Russel Frank

Russel Attended Art Institute of Phoenix, majored in Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Marketing of January 2009.  His first “real industry” related experience, working with Phoenix Fashion Week January 2010, as a Stylist on their Style Team. Networking with industry contacts, he then branched out to independently produce fashion show events in the night life scene in the metropolitan area of Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. As a freelance wardrobe stylist, he began to dabble into styling photo shoots, runway shows, and publications.  Fall of December 2011, Russel had graduated with his degree.

Shortly thereafter, Russell had relocated to Las Vegas, and not following the crowd to move to LA, to continue his career in the fashion industry.  He quickly jumped on board to join the production team of Fashion Week Las Vegas August 2012, where he now holds the position as the Fashion Week Las Vegas Runway and Stylist Director. Continuing his independent freelance wardrobe styling, Russel styles photo shoots for male and female models, working along with fellow talented artist for publication, campaigns, and even video productions. His sense of styling ranges from menswear, womenswear, high fashion, editorial, couture, avant-garde , to simple chic, bold, mixing patterns and prints.

“I want to continue working with as many people as possible focusing on photo shoot styling for publications and campaigns.  At the same time, continue to work with Fashion Week Las Vegas, as the Runway and Stylist Director. I only hope for long term to see myself on staff of a major magazine publication on the creative team where I can continue styling shoots.  Eventually leaving the runway production side, to only attend them as a freelance celebrity stylist.” – Russel Frank
